To reduce the carbon footprint of printed books, Swedish paper mill Lessebo Paper, in collaboration with publisher Bonnier Books and Latvian printer Livonia Print, has launched Livonia Zero Offset, a new green paper for high-quality print production.<\/p>\n

Swedish paper mill Lessebo Paper is actively working to reduce its environmental footprint. Its products are among the most environmentally friendly on the paper market, both in terms of raw materials used and CO2 emissions reduced. The paper mill uses only renewable electricity and manages its water resources responsibly.<\/p>\n

Three companies take the initiative to develop a new quality paper that meets high environmental requirements. A tonne of Livonia Zero Offset by Lessebo Paper produces only 25 kg of CO2, which is significantly less than the European average. All CO2 emissions from pulp and paper production are offset through the Gold Standard project.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lessebo Paper Livonia Zero Offset is a white, uncoated paper available in 100-140 g\/m2. It has Cradle to Cradle\u00ae and FSC\u00ae Gold certification. To ensure maximum readability, the new paper grade has a rough surface and high opacity. Some of the products are specially designed to give the book a pleasing thickness and weight. In addition, Lessebo Paper Livonia Zero Offset is designed for printing on high-performance presses and is available to customers in both rolls and sheets. The paper is produced in Sweden using locally sourced raw materials.<\/p>\n
